Jorrit Heinen is niet alleen de naam van het bedrijf, maar ook de persoon achter het bedrijf. Jorrit Heinen geboren in 1969, startte in 1985 samen met zijn vader Jaap Heinen met het vervaardigen van Delfts aardewerk aan de Prinsengracht in Amsterdam. Samen schilderden zij in de winkel, waar bezoekers met grote belangstelling keken naar de creativiteit van beiden. De vraag naar aardewerk werd steeds groter en al snel besloten zij het aantal winkels uit te breiden en de productie te professionaliseren. In Putten wordt tot op heden het traditionele Delfts aardewerk geproduceerd.
Jorrit Heinen heeft een breed aanbod aan traditionele stukken, maar de moderne objecten zijn ook ruim vertegenwoordigd in zijn collectie. De topmerken vertegenwoordigen elk een andere ambacht. Al deze producten, van prachtige woonaccessoires tot luxe artikelen, zijn met de grootste zorgvuldigheid ontworpen.

You are very welcome at cheesefarm and clogs factory Simonehoeve. The entrance, the guided tour with demonstrations of cheese making and of clogs making, plus the tasting of all cheeses are all for free. The demonstrations can be given in Dutch, German, English, French, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, and Hebrew. All other languages are on request or with translation via the tour manager/interpreter. On the first floor of the cheesefarm is a restaurant, decorated in traditional Dutch atmosphere, with possibilities for breakfast, coffee and cake, lunch, high tea, dinner, and parties. Furthermore the Simonehoeve organises workshops: cheese making, clogs making, clogs decorating, clogs engraving, fish smoking, decorating objects with ceramic or glass mosaic tiles, and pimping of objects.
